MOVEMBER IS HERE SO DITCH THE RAZOR & LETS GET FUZZY

Forget the 5th of November, this month is significant for something much more important - Movember. This signifies the most important of months when all worthy and unshaven men stop shaving and start growing.

Although Halloween has just passed Movember is a much more hair-raising experience and all in aid of a very fine cause.

Launched 13 years ago in 2003 Movember created to both raise awareness and funds for men's health issues including prostate and testicular cancer, along with mental health issues like anxiety and depression.

The movement began in Melbourne, Australia when a group of friends decided to grow a mustache. At first around 30 people took up the challenge and with each years passing more of the world now gets involved.

The only downside to the event is that officially you should be growing a mustache only (sadly beards are not part of the deal). But we don't mind if you cheat on this bit.

How you can play a part - Movember rules

Head over to movember.com and register, then just follow these rules for 30 days:-

• Start the first day of November clean shaven
• Grow your Mo For the whole of the month
• Raise funds for the charity
• Have fun!

Many people download the movember sponsorship form and organise a sponsered movember run or similar endurance test.
