So why are Essential oils such a significant ingredient in our grooming products? Along with the beautiful fragrances, our essential oils which we use to create those grab-you-by-the-nuts smells, also offer a number of health benefits. These oils have numerous amazing properties which benefit you inside and out. Our fragrances are available in all of our beard care products and some of our other grooming sets and cosmetics.
Cedarwood Benefits
As you can guess, Cedarwood oil does come from wood. Wood from Cedar wood trees go through a special steaming process which results in a rich essential oil full of antiseptic and sedative properties. Studies have been carried out to test the anti-inflammatory effects of cedarwood oil, and results suggest that the oil can lessen the pain of arthritis just by rubbing it into the skin of the affected area. Cedarwood also have antiseptic qualities can protect wounds from tetanus germs. The oil works by helping heal the wound, meaning the white blood cells can continue to protect the body’s immune system.
As well as medical benefits, Cedarwood oil can also help boost your metabolism, tightens muscles and skin and also boosts kidney and liver functions.

Lemongrass Benefits
Lemongrass oil, also known as Cymbopogon Citratus, is extracted from the stems of dried lemongrass. The most well-known use of lemongrass is to add a subtle lemon flavour to cooking and teas, as the taste from an actual lemon can be too sour or sharp. As well as a cooking ingredient, studies show that Lemongrass oil has many other health benefits, one of them being an antidepressant and helps with anxiety. The oil was tested on patients who suffered from depression and the results suggest that the smell can uplift one’s spirit and relax any nervousness. The oil still has many other uses, such as an antiseptic and a cleanser for your body, to flush out toxins in the kidneys, intestines, etc.

Lemongrass has a clean, crisp aroma, with the citrus smell of lemon. It has a pure, refreshing, and energizing zing.

Eucalyptus Benefits
Like the previous oils Eucalyptus has many medical properties, such as antiseptic and anti inflammatory and is a main ingredient in products like rubs, inhalers, liniments, rash creams, soaps and mouthwashes. The oil is extracted from the leaves of the Evergreen Eucalyptus tree, native to Australia. Some of the most fascinating uses of this oils is its bug repellent properties. In fact, it’s so effective many people use it as a lice treatment as the oil is much more gentle on your hair in comparison to artificial treatments. On top of that Eucalyptus is also a well known muscle relaxant and can help soothe pains and strains.
Eucalyptus Smell
Eucalyptus has a istinctive smell that is a sharp, fresh mint and pine smell complete with a dash of honey.

Sweet Orange Benefits
Making the sweet orange oil is a long process where it’s extracted from the peal of an orange by a cold compression. Like many other oils sweet orange has anti inflammatory properties, but it’s most common use is a Antispasmodic. This means it can relax muscles and can be used to treat muscular and nerve spasms. These spasms could be linked to “continuous coughing, convulsions, muscle cramps and extreme diarrhea”. The fragrance has also been known to calm and relax the mind, as well as muscles. Much like Lemongrass oil, sweet orange can also be used as a body detox.

Our beautiful Whiskey on the Rocks fragrance is intoxicating blend of whiskey coupled with wood smoke and oak. Floral top notes of rose and violet along with tobacco leaf and a hint of vanilla toffee make this a beautiful smell loved by all that will warm you inside and out.
Ok so I don’t usually do the whole comment, review thing but I had to find this site and leave a comment. I bought this a few weeks ago and put it into my gym bag, well I found this bad boy yesterday and cracked him open after a session on the weights and a fresh shower. I don’t like whiskey so I don’t know what the fudge possessed me to purchase said oil.
Anyroad, this is when the magic happened, I smashed on a healthy splash onto my golden ginger fuzz and fell instantly in love!! 😍
I put it on at 8 last night and could still smell it at 2 this afternoon, which is why I was glad I’d spent a load on more gear (sadly on eBay as I didn’t realise you had a website, my bad)
This has now sky rocketed to the top of my list, by a country mile, as my new scent.
