7 Ways to Really Enjoy Your Morning Routine

Some people roll out of bed full of energy and excited about the new day. However, a significant number of people wake up groggy and tired after hitting the snooze button several times. If you belong to the category of ‘I hate morning, until after a cup of coffee’, you are not alone. The good news is that you can change that experience and wake up excited and full of energy by trying the following tricks.

 

Monitor Your Morning Routine

When you want to improve your morning experience, start by monitoring your morning schedule. If you spend your first ten minutes sulking, you should try to eliminate the sulking time. Monitor all the unnecessary activities, which consume your time in the morning. Take shaving or trimming your beard for example: many think of it as it is a chore, but if you take your time and do it properly with the right tools and the right grooming products, it can be a relaxing and rewarding time.

Once you unclutter the schedule, you will find that things run smoothly, and you do not have to rush to work or school.

 

Schedule Some Quiet Time

The best time to think and meditate is in the morning. Please note this is not sulking time. Spend some time meditating and reflecting on positive thoughts. You will have a chance to think through the problems, and you can make plans before you start your hectic day. You will have a chance to have quality time before everyone else starts demanding for your attention.

 

Eat Light for Better Sleep

A restful night will lead to a bright and energetic morning. You can manage your energy levels by eating light before you go to sleep. Consequently, you will have a restful sleep. Save the heavy meals for breakfast and, when you are up and running in the course of the day.

 

Prioritize Your Morning

If your morning schedule starts with checking what is happening on the social media before you get out bed, you need to set your proprieties right. Do not touch that phone because it is a trap. Even if you convince yourself it is only for ten minutes; it will not be less than thirty minutes. Do the important stuff first. Meditation is a good place to start.

 

The Coffee Magic

Whoever invented coffee did the world a great favor. If you have trouble managing your morning without a cup of coffee, do not feel guilty. However, instead of the huge coffee mug, space out your coffee throughout the morning. Take small cups at regular to sustain the energy level.

 

Alternative Energy Booster

Health experts maintain that high amount of caffeine is not good for your health. If you choose to follow their advice, then you can look for alternative means of boosting your energy level. You can opt to exercise instead of a cup of coffee.

 

Make an Early Preparation

You can make your morning more enjoyable by making preparation before you go to bed. Plan and do the tasks you hate the night before, instead of surfing on the Internet. When the alarm goes off, you will manage a smile after remembering you do not have to spend time trying to figure out what to wear.
